We are now in Tenterfield. We rode in about 2pm today sunday 2nd (fathers day!)...
I'm sitting outside the Jumbuck motor inn...Lap top on my lap under the veranda. They were kind enough to give us free internet to up load the latest news.
This morning was a slow start as we were taken around the Aboringinal community and discussed some projects that we could develop to encourage youth on the community to get into life. The family we stayed with are active on the land council. They are well respected as doers for the community. Unfortunately not all is rosey on the community, but there is hope amongst many.
We met some great folks in Drake. Ate a roll and spoke to a few dozen locals about the trip and past adventures...
We spent time late last night looking at the footage and I'm impressed! A few of the Aboriginal kids took the camera for a test flight and on play back I cannot believe the natural ability that flows...
We plan to take a group back with us again next year and the community is happy to organise us a show.
Eddie's waiting for me down the road near a cafe so I'll head off and have a drink then find a place to take off from. Tenterfield is on top of the range so we can expect thinner air and faster trim.... Cross fingures we don't bend anything.
Hope to grab a shower tonight and get more pix up of flying and scenery.
